Extremely cold air fell into southern Colorado overnight behind our Sunday/Monday snow storm. Temperatures in the morning will be in the single digits and few teens, with negative readings out through some of the mountains and into the mountain valleys. Strong sunshine today will warm the pavement, melting snow on the roads and pushing daytime highs up above freezing. Overnight we'll stay clear and calm with lows falling back into the teens and single digits.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Sunny skies and breezy with daytime temperatures in the upper 30s.
Extended Outlook:
COLD again tonight with calm winds and clear skies, but not as cold as Tuesday morning. We'll see more sunshine Wednesday with afternoon clouds moving in and daytime temperatures back in the 50s. A weak cold front will push highs down a couple degrees on Thursday, with 50s turning to 60s by the weekend.
