Extended Outlook:
Wednesday is going to start dry across southern Colorado, with a wintry mix over the mountains becoming rain across the lower elevations through the afternoon. As temperatures cool into the evening, rain will turn to snow at elevations over 7,000 feet, but with minimal accumulation. The bigger snow, although still light east of the mountains, will come Thursday. Highs will be around freezing and snow totals will range from an inch or two from Springs to Pueblo, 4 or more inches in the Wet Mountains, and around a half a foot possible out near the Sangre De Cristos. Snow will end early Friday morning and we'll be dry over the weekend.
