Sunshine will quickly warm the ground and send air temperatures into the 50s and then 60s through the afternoon. The winds will stay light today, making it feel even better to be outside. Tonight we'll see clear skies and light winds, allowing for lows to fall back into the 30s by Saturday morning.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 53; Low: 31. Chilly morning but quick to warm under sunny skies with light winds and crisp afternoon temperatures.
TRI-LAKES: High: 50s; Low: 30s. Mostly sunny, light winds, and pleasant afternoon temperatures.
PLAINS: High: 60s; Low: 30s. A touch of fog along the Arkansas River early this morning, with most of the plains just seeing sunny skies and warm afternoon temps.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Sunny skies, a steady breeze, and gorgeous afternoon temperatures.
Extended Outlook:
Even warmer air returns to the forecast on Saturday, with highs widespread into the 70s across the lower elevations, and 60s in the mountains! A cold front will push highs back into the 50s and 60s on Sunday, wtih even colder air expected by Monday. Fog, freezing drizzle, and light snow are all possible on Monday morning behind the cold front that will keep Monday afternoon in the 30s.
