Flurries bookend the weekend

Today’s Forecast:

***Weather Alert early, for Northern El Paso and Teller Counties***

Snow showers or flurries end early Saturday, with partial clearing later in the day…but it will remain cold, like the kind of weather more typical of the beginning of March, not the end of it…only to see another weak disturbance set off a few mostly snow showers late in the day Sunday…of little or no consequence.

Beyond that, skies begin to clear up in time for Monday and temps warm up into the 50s, 60s and near 70 through next week.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 38. Early flurries Saturday, then partial clearing through the day.

PUEBLO: High: 44. A few sprinkles/flurries early Saturday, then partial clearing.

CANON CITY: High: 42.  Flurries early Saturday, then slow clearing.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 33. Early flurries Saturday, then partial clearing through the day.

TRI-LAKES: High: 34. Early flurries Saturday, then partial clearing through the day.

PLAINS: High: 46. Light showers Saturday morning, then slow clearing.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40. Slow clearing Saturday.

Extended Outlook: Flurries late Sunday (40s), Mostly sunny and warmer Monday (50s), and even warmer Tuesday & Wednesday.
