Today’s Forecast:
It’s a Mary Poppins kind of forecast across southern Colorado with a practically perfect day of weather! We’re starting with some patchy fog once again this morning but as temperatures warm after sunrise, we’ll bring out clear and sunny skies into the afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 60s in Colorado Springs and lower 70s in Pueblo with a stronger afternoon wind. Tonight we’ll keep clear skies and mild temperatures with lows falling back near 40 degrees.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 69; Low – 41. Patchy morning fog with a windy and warm afternoon.

PUEBLO: High – 73; Low – 42.  Mostly sunny with a stronger afternoon wind and perfect temperatures.

CANON CITY: High – 72; Low – 41. Mostly sunny skies with light winds and great afternoon temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 58; Low – 37. Mostly sunny skies with light winds and mild temperatures.

TRI-LAKES: High – 60s; Low – 30s. Mostly sunny skies with stronger afternoon winds and mild temperatures.

PLAINS: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Patchy morning fog with sunny with a stronger afternoon wind and great temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Mostly sunny with a stronger afternoon wind and perfect temperatures.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Temperatures peak tomorrow with highs in the 70s and 80s across southern Colorado in the afternoon! The winds will once again be breezy through the afternoon and that will work to elevate fire danger in grassy areas. Thursday will be cloudier in the afternoon with high temperatures about 2 degrees cooler than Wednesday. Rain and some snow arrive Friday and Friday night with an unsettled weekend forecast. Right now it looks like we should plan for a rain and snow chance on Saturday, with drier skies by Sunday.
