Tonight’s Forecast:

Mostly sunny skies and warm air dominated across Southern Colorado for Tuesday, and it is just going to get a bit warmer. Not too hot though.  Overnight we’ll cool down to the low 40s in Colorado Springs and Pueblo with only light winds. Then it heats back up Wednesday to 70 in Colorado Springs and even 80 in Pueblo. Be sure to enjoy this Spring Break-like weather pattern throughout the week. There is no precipitation in the forecast until Friday at the earliest. As such, there is a possibility of an elevated fire danger on the plains where winds will be more prominent.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 40, High -70.  Mostly cloudy overnight with south-southwest winds around 5 mph.

PUEBLO: Low – 46, High – 80. Mostly cloudy overnight with north-northwest winds around 6 mph.

CANON CITY: Low – 43, High – 77. Mostly cloudy overnight with west winds around 9 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 36, High – 61. Mostly cloudy overnight with southwest winds around 9 mph.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 39, High – 66. Mostly cloudy overnight with southwest winds around 8 mph.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Temperatures peak Wednesday afternoon. Thursday will be cloudier in the afternoon with high temperatures about 2 degrees cooler than Wednesday. Rain and some snow arrive Friday and Friday night with an unsettled weekend forecast. Right now it looks like we should plan for a rain and snow chance on Saturday, with drier skies by Sunday.
