Tonight’s Forecast:

A Pacific storm is moving in, and departs Saturday afternoon. This storm will be weak, bringing scattered rain and snow showers to the lower elevations any time tonight…in to early Saturday morning. The Palmer Divide, and any higher elevation west (above 7500 feet) will get on and off snow tonight into Saturday morning, with a few slushy inches of accumulation. It ends Saturday morning, clears up Saturday afternoon, and then it is game on.

The next storm beyond, which was already questionable, and is now definitely a no-go. Worst case is a few light rain-showers Sunday for the northeastern corner of the State…maybe down to Peyton, Calhan, Kutch and Kit Carson. It clears out early Monday, and Spring is on! 50s and low 70s will be commonplace Monday through Thursday of next week.
