Summary: More Mountain snows tonight through tomorrow, gusty winds for the Plains diminish early this evening, and unseasonably warm temperatures begin to turn cooler with time. There will be a little band of very light snow/rain moving through late night, while we sleep…of little real-world consequence.

But, a new pattern emerges, one which brings much colder air for Sunday through early next week, and the possibility of measurable snow for the I-25 corridor and the Plains!

So, be prepared for heavy snow in the mountains for 30 hours, breezy winds in the Plains Friday & Saturday afternoons, a lot of cloud cover along the way, a brief overnight shower tonight, and gradually cooler temps.

COLORADO SPRINGS:  Low: 30, High: 56.  Mostly cloudy, an overnight snow shower. Becoming partly to mostly sunny Friday, slightly cooler…but still unseasonably mild!

PUEBLO:  Low: 32, High: 62.  Mostly cloudy, an overnight rain or snow shower. Becoming partly to mostly sunny Friday, slightly cooler…but still unseasonably mild!

CANON CITY:  Low: 33, High: 57. Mostly cloudy, an overnight rain or snow shower. Becoming partly to mostly sunny Friday, slightly cooler…but still unseasonably mild!

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 26, High: 48.  Mostly cloudy, a Midnight snow shower. Becoming partly to mostly sunny Friday, slightly cooler…but still mild.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 28, High: 50.  Mostly cloudy, a Midnight snow shower. Becoming partly to mostly sunny Friday, slightly cooler…but still mild.

PLAINS: Low: 30, High: 58.  Mostly cloudy, an overnight rain or snow shower. Becoming partly to mostly sunny Friday, slightly cooler…but still unseasonably mild!

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 34, High: 64.  Mostly cloudy, an overnight rain or snow shower. Becoming partly to mostly sunny Friday, slightly cooler…but still unseasonably mild!

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:  Saturday a brief PM snow shower east of I-25, highs in the 40s-low 50s. It is Sunday night all the way through Tuesday that is looking quite promising, for snow. It certainly will be cold, with highs 15-30 degrees below average…
