Summary: It’s about Mountain snows tonight through tomorrow night, gusty winds for the Plains, unseasonably warm temperatures, and the Pineapple Express in terms of clouds for the Plains for the next several days, until a pair of Alaskan Gulf storms break up the (jet stream) pattern Friday into Saturday.

But, even then, a new pattern emerges, one which brings much colder air for Sunday through early next week, and the possibility of measurable snow for the I-25 corridor and the Plains!

So, be prepared for heavy snow in the mountains for 36 hours, breezy to occasionally heavy winds in the Plains through Thursday (high Fire Danger too), and a lot of cloud cover along the way, because the jet is firing out of the southwest…back towards Hawaii…getting it’s name…the Pineapple Express!
