Tonight’s Forecast:

Quiet and mild tonight. Any snow will stay in the mountains to our west. Winds will be a bit breezy for the higher elevations, but not as gusty as they were during the day. Lows will be mainly in the 20’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 27, High – 46. Quiet tonight. Chances for mainly snow showers tomorrow with gusty winds. Minor accumulations, especially for areas north and west of downtown.

PUEBLO: Low – 26, High – 54. Dry and quiet overnight. Rain and snow chances return on Wednesday with no accumulation expected.

CANON CITY: Low – 30, High – 54. Dry tonight. The chance for rain and snow showers will return tomorrow with little to no accumulations.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 22, High – 38. Mainly quiet overnight. Snow showers tomorrow with gusty winds and a couple inches of accumulation.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 20’s, High – 40’s. Quiet tonight. Snow chances on Wednesday with a couple inches of accumulation and slow evening commutes.

PLAINS: Low – 20’s, High – 50’s. Quiet tonight. Chance for mainly rain showers with some snow mixing in on Wednesday. Colder and windy.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 33, High – 50’s. Mainly clear tonight. A chance for rain/snow showers tomorrow, mainly during the afternoon.

REST OF THE WEEK: Wednesday will be a more active day for us. Showers will develop through the late morning and afternoon. These look to be very scattered for the plains with rain changing to snow. Snow showers will be most abundant for the higher elevations like the Palmer Divide, Teller County, the Wets, and Sangres. These areas could see some accumulations and issues with the evening commute. Plan on extra time between Denver and Colorado Springs. Winds will be strong at times, shifting to the north as a cold front moves through. They’ll cause low visibility and blowing snow as it falls. Temperatures should make it into the 40’s and low 50’s before the front. Thursday will be dry but chilly with highs only in the 20’s and clouds lingering. We’ll see improvement for the rest of the week with highs back in the 40’s to low 50’s by the weekend with dry skies .
