Sunny skies will allow for a quick warm up into the 50s across the lower elevations and 40s in the mountains later today. The winds will stay light this afternoon and that only means any hikes around town will only feel more beautiful.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
The days will keep warming into the weekend with the warmest day happening Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s Saturday afternoon, with Sunday only a few degrees cooler. The winds will be very strong on Sunday and Monday with dry skies across southern Colorado and heavy mountain snow to the west. The next chance for snow in our area looks to fall towards Wednesday of next week, but only a few flurries are showing up in the modeling.
