After a COLD start to the morning, we’re going to absolutely love the afternoon. The sun will shine brightly today and continue to melt down the remaining snow across southern Colorado. The winds will stay light with this afternoon with very beautiful daytime temperatures. Tonight another cold night will settle in, but temperatures will stay warmer than the last few days.

PUEBLO: High – 50; Low – 15. Sunny skies, light winds, and warm afternoon temperatures.
CANON CITY: High – 50; Low – 23. Sunny skies, light winds, and mild afternoon temperatures.
WOODLAND PARK: High – 40; Low – 16. Sunny skies, light winds, and chilly afternoon temperatures.
TRI-LAKES: High – 40s; Low – 10s. Sunny skies, light winds, and cool afternoon temperatures.
PLAINS: High – 40s; Low – 10s. Sunny skies, light winds, and warm afternoon temperatures.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 40s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies, light winds, and mild afternoon temperatures.
EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Not much has changed over the last few days as we look into the extended forecast. The days will keep warming into the weekend with the warmest day happening Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s Saturday afternoon, with about an 8 degree temperature drop into Sunday. The winds will be very strong on Sunday and Monday with dry skies across southern Colorado and heavy mountain snow to the west. The next chance for snow in our area looks to fall on Tuesday of next week, but only a few flurries are showing up in the modeling.
