Monday Evening Weather: Chilly night with slick spots

Tonight’s Forecast:

Snow has dissipated and conditions on main roads should improve quickly. Back and side roads will likely maintain slick conditions through at least the Tuesday morning commute. Temperatures plummet with mainly clear skies tonight. Lows in the 0’s for most.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 10, High – 38. Clear and cold tonight. Slightly warmer with a few clouds tomorrow.

PUEBLO: Low – 5, High – 39. Bitterly cold and clear tonight. A few clouds and a touch milder Tuesday.

CANON CITY: Low – 11, High – 44. Chilly and clear overnight. Slightly warmer tomorrow.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 3, High – 33. Bitterly cold and clear tonight. A touch milder Tuesday.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 0’s, High – 30’s. Very cold and clear tonight. A bit milder tomorrow with a few clouds.

PLAINS: Low – 10, High – 30’s. Bitterly cold overnight. Mainly sunny and a touch milder Tuesday.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 0’s, High – 40. Clear and cold tonight. A few clouds and slightly warmer tomorrow.

REST OF THE WEEK: A nicer trend for the rest of the week. Still below average on Tuesday, but above freezing for most. A little bit of cloud cover at times, especially along I-25. Much warmer for the rest of the week with mainly sunny skies through the end of the work and school week. Highs will be mainly in the 50’s. The weekend looks like it could be snowy for the mountains, but mainly dry for the lower elevations. Winds will likely be strong, especially Saturday night into Sunday. Temperatures take a slow turn, down into the 40’s and low 50’s by Monday.
