Summary: A bubble of high pressure over Nevada and Utah will ease overheard the next 18 hours, and push a warm front across. Breezy conditions will stick around, but they will be warmer winds. We’re talking mid and upper 50s Sunday, for most.

Then, the thermal cliff. The bottom falls out early Monday. A cold front sweeps down from the Yukon, and brings gusty winds, a few snow showers, and much colder conditions. The only areas I would consider for accumulating snow are Palmer Divide, and west of I-25, down through Trinidad. But even these areas, we’re only talking somewhere between a coating and a few inches. Again, the wind and cold are the bigger issues, and snow is significant only in creating lowered visibility at times. It arrives before dawn Monday, and diminishes rapidly before noon north…early afternoon south.
