Weather Alert Day: Snow ends this afternoon

Today’s Forecast:

Snow showers will be around during the first part of the afternoon. Low visibility will be possible as the snow falls.That snow clears out by the drive at 5 for a quiet commute home. Accumulations, if any, will be minor. Highs today will only be in the 20’s and low 30’s behind a cold front.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 28; Low – 12. Snow ends this afternoon with temperatures staying cold.

PUEBLO: High – 33; Low – 10. Areas of snow early this afternoon before skies improve.

CANON CITY: High – 32; Low – 14. Snow chances end this afternoon but temperatures stay cold.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 26; Low – 8. Snow showers end this afternoon, but temperatures stay chilly

TRI-LAKES: High – 20’s; Low – 10’s. A cold day with snow ending.

PLAINS: High – 30’s; Low – 10’s. Snow ends this afternoon with minor accumulations.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 30’s; Low – 10’s. A few snow showers early this afternoon with cold temperatures.

NEXT SEVERAL DAYS: Skies improve overnight with lows in the 0’s and 10’s. Additional sunshine for Friday with highs rebounding into the 40’s. The weekend looks very pleasant. We’ll have clouds at times, but temperatures will stay above average. 40’s on Saturday and 50’s on Sunday. Monday will be our next chance for snow showers to return to the forecast along with very cold air.
