Tonight’s Forecast: Clouds spill over the mountains tonight and while we’ll get cold, the lows overnight won’t be as sharp and chilling as the last few nights. Heavier mountain snow will be falling along and west of the Continental Divide tonight through Wednesday, meaning any west drives along I-70 and the smaller highways could be slick and treacherous for the next 24 hours.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 26, High: 48.  Mostly cloudy and cold tonight, cloudy and mild on Wednesday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 22, High: 47.  Mostly cloudy and cold tonight, cloudy and cool on Wednesday with a brief flurry possible in the evening.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 27, High: 51. Mostly cloudy and cold tonight, cloudy and warm on Wednesday.

CANON CITY: Low: 30. High: 53.  Mostly cloudy and cold tonight, cloudy and warm on Wednesday.

PUEBLO: Low: 23, High: 55.  Mostly cloudy and cold tonight, partly sunny and very warm on Wednesday.

PLAINS: Low: 25, High: 58. Mostly cloudy and cold tonight, partly sunny and very warm on Wednesday.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 28, High: 52.  Mostly cloudy and cold tonight, partly sunny and warm on Wednesday.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:  Thursday looks fantastic with highs widespread through the 50s across the lower elevations and dry. Rain to snow is still expected on Friday with most accumulation staying in the mountains and on the grass of the lower elevations. That being said, when we drop below freezing Friday night, slick roads could develop and become a problem early in the morning.
