EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

Snowfall Accumulation
Expected snowfall from Monday to Tuesday morning

Tomorrow morning, a strong cold front will push through the state, saturating the air and dropping snow early in the morning. Snow will be falling off and on from Monday through Tuesday morning, although the snow will be more of a light flurry by Tuesday morning. The winds will be strong, gusting between 20 to 40 mph on Monday meaning that travel will be difficult and not advised, especially through the mountains where the heaviest snow is expected. Monument Hill from Monday through Tuesday morning will be slick and dangerous to drive on, but highway 24 and 50 west into the mountains, as well as our southern routes like highway 160, will also be dangerous.
