Today’s Forecast:

Cold and not as windy today with temperatures staying well below average. Clouds will be around for much of the day but snow holds off for many areas. It will start over the southern mountains late this morning/early this afternoon and take a good bit of time to fill in for the rest of us. The southern I-25 corridor should see snow during the afternoon with the majority of the activity holding off until after sunset for Pueblo and Colorado Springs. Snow showers will be around overnight with some minor accumulations by morning. Generally well under 2″, but areas like the southern I-25 corridor could have locally higher totals. The Wets and Sangres should be able to get a few inches.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 36; Low – 19. A colder day with a chance for snow showers later today and overnight.

PUEBLO: High – 41; Low – 18. Dry to start the day with the chance for snow increasing this evening and tonight.

CANON CITY: High – 37; Low – 20. Colder today with snow chances increasing later today into the overnight hours.

REST OF THE WEEK: A couple snow showers linger into Monday, mainly for the peaks and the Pikes Peak Region. Some slow downs and slick spots will be possible for the morning commute Monday. Plan on needing some extra time to get your week started. Temperatures will be even colder Monday with highs in the 20’s and 30’s. Clouds stick around, but skies should be drier overall. We stay below average for the rest of the week with just a little bit of temperature improvement. Wednesday should be the warmest day of the week with highs in the 40’s. Winds could be a little breezy at times. The next chance for rain/snow could arrive for Thursday into Friday.
