Today’s Forecast:
After the COLD morning we saw today, the afternoon is going to feel like a heat wave, even though it still qualifies as chilly! Sunshine and a ridge of high pressure in the jet stream help drive warmth into the forecast today, with the next two days looking even better! The winds will, thankfully, stay light this afternoon, but that does mean we’ll see another very cold night.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 47; Low – 25. Sunny, chilly and dry with very light winds.

PUEBLO: High – 50; Low – 19. Sunny, pleasant and dry with gentle winds.

CANON CITY: High – 49; Low – 28. Sunny, cool and dry with gentle winds.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 44; Low – 20. Sunny, cold and dry with light winds.

TRI-LAKES: High – 40s; Low – 10s. Sunny, cold and dry with very light winds.

PLAINS: High – 40s; Low – 20s. Sunny, pleasant and dry with gentle winds.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 40s; Low – 20s. Sunny, pleasant and dry with light winds.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Warm air really sets in tomorrow and Wednesday with highs moving into the 50s, and then the 60s! A cold front Wednesday night will kick temperatures back into the 50s and then 40s through the weekend. We are going to stay dry through most of this week, but we do have our eyes on a weak system Friday night. The next best chance for snow looks to fall this coming Sunday.
