REST OF THE WEEK: A ridge of high pressure will be our main feature for the next couple of days, giving us a nice warm up. Tuesday’s highs will warm into the 50’s and 60’s. Skies will start sunny with some cloud cover arriving late in the day. Wednesday will have a good downslope wind to boost temperatures even more to highs in the 60’s nearly everywhere along with partly cloudy skies. The rest of the week looks more active with a downward trend in temperatures. We’ll cool off each day with highs in the 40’s to end this week. Colder still with temps only in the 30’s by Monday. Clouds will be more abundant throughout this period with chances for rain/snow. Models are still differing a bit, but it looks like the best time frames for precipitation will be Friday (mainly focused on the mountains and Palmer Divide) and then late Saturday into Monday.
