Today’s Forecast:

Drastically colder with temperatures not warming much throughout the day. Clouds and areas of fog today. Best chance to see some freezing drizzle mixing in should be for the Palmer Divide and that could cause some issues with roadways. Snow will develop, especially through the second half of the day, with a chance for wintry mix at times. Actual accumulations should be 1″ or less for most areas, up to about 2″ for areas catching a heavier band.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 33; Low – 18. Much colder with areas of snow and a chance for freezing drizzle to mix in. Accumulations around a trace to 2″.

NEXT WEEK: Snow showers come to an end overnight with lows in the 10’s and  20’s. Skies work on clearing for Sunday with highs in the 30’s and 40’s. Bright, dry, and milder for the rest of the week. Monday continues a slow warming trend before temperatures return to the 50’s and low 60’s starting on Tuesday. Thanksgiving is looking good so far- dry, mainly sunny, and above average. The only concern at this point looks to be breezy wind for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Thanksgiving travel is also looking good so far, at least on our end of things.
