Forecast: While Monday appears breezy & mild, it is the outlyer. The rest of the week will be cool, and a little unsettled. But, even with the unsettled skies, there’s scant little moisture in the forecast this week. (Wednesday night appears less impressive, now.)

A cold front coming through Monday morning, is sparking snow showers in the mountains (4-6″ in ski country), but in the Plains, we’d only see a few flurries late at night into Monday morning. Then, partial clearing is expected, but with blustery winds. The cold air begins to be felt at night, on through Thursday.

PS: Election day is still dry and cool.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 33, High – 55. Mainly cloudy, becoming breezy, overnight flurry. Monday, Early flurry, then partial clearing and breezy.

PUEBLO: Low – 36, High – 60. Mostly cloudy and becoming breezy tonight. Clouds early, then mostly sunny Monday, breezy & mild.

CANON CITY: Low – 37, High – 57. Mainly cloudy tonight, maybe a flurry. Becoming breezy. Remaining breezy Monday, becoming partly to mostly sunny.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 25, High – 42. Snow showers tonight, breezy. Early clouds Monday, then mixed sun & clouds, blustery

TRI-LAKES: Low – 28, High – 48. Snow showers tonight, breezy. Early clouds Monday, then mixed sun & clouds, blustery

PLAINS: Low – 38, High – 62. Mainly cloudy tonight. Early clouds Monday, then partial clearing, breezy & mild.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 36, High – 58. Mainly cloudy tonight. Early clouds Monday, then partial clearing, breezy & mild.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

Our midweek storm which seemed like it could drop a little light snow Wednesday night, looks less and less impressive as we get closer. Still, a period of light snow is possible Wednesday PM into very early Thursday, just don’t expect much. And by the way, it appears the dry weather will continue to the following week…but with a dramatic warm up beginning next Sunday.
