Today’s Forecast:

Much cooler air arrives in time for the weekend. Highs today will be in the 40’s and 50’s, below average for the first part of November. Winds will be breezy with gusts over 30 mph at times. Clouds will be around with a chance for isolated showers throughout the day.

CANON CITY: High – 54; Low – 27. Cooler and breezy with the chance for isolated shower activity.

NEXT WEEK: Partly cloudy tonight with lows in the 20’s. Still below average tomorrow with highs in the 50’s. Clouds will still be around, but the vast majority of precipitation stays to our west and north. Winds will be breezy to gusty later Sunday into Monday. Below average will really be the theme of the week ahead. Highs will only be in the low to mid 50’s for Monday and Tuesday. Skies will be dry but clouds will still be around. Models start to differ for Wednesday and Thursday. General trend looks to be colder temperatures by Thursday and chances for rain/snow Wednesday night into Thursday. Too soon for exact timing/temps/accumulations, but that will be the time to watch for the most inclement weather of the week. Should have improvements moving in for Friday.
