Today’s Forecast:
The snow is gone and the weather is bouncing back to Fall! Cloud cover was a bit thicker overnight but as the day moves on the sun will come back and warm things up. The lower elevations will stay dry today with temperatures generally warming into the 50s and even a few 60s out in the plains. We’ll stay dry through most of the mountains in southern Colorado but northwest of our area, more so west of Denver, more snow returns later today and tonight across the high terrain.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 53; Low – 30. The sunshine returns and temperatures warm up! The wind will be stronger in the afternoon and we’ll stay dry.

PUEBLO: High – 58; Low – 31. Expect a mostly sunny and breezy day across Pueblo with dry skies.

CANON CITY: High – 55; Low – 34. Mostly sunny skies with a steady afternoon breeze and dry skies.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 42; Low – 25. Melting snow under the sunshine today with heavier clouds through the end of the day, we’ll stay dry in Woodland Park

TRI-LAKES: High – 40s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies through most of the day over Monument Hill with a stronger afternoon breeze.

PLAINS: High – 50s; Low – 30s. Nice and sunny with very warm and breezy air, especially out towards Lamar.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 40/50s; Low – 30s. Mostly sunny skies with just a few clouds returning through the afternoon and a steady breeze.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Friday looks fantastic for nearly all of the region! We’ll see good sunshine with dry skies and highs back to the 60s… even a few 70s! A very strong cold front will move through Friday night ans Saturday morning, throwing wind gusts up to and over 30 mph with only a small chance for rain Saturday mid morning in the lower elevations. It will definitely be a windy and chilly day to be at the Veterans day parade in Colorado Springs. Sunday looks dry and just about as warm as Saturday, temperatures generally in the low to mid 50s. Next week features another cool down with a few more rain and snow chances through the area.
