Today’s Forecast:
Two words come to mind when describing the forecast today: awesome sauce. It’s going to be fantastic out there with high pressure bringing strong sunshine through the whole day. Temperatures will feel amazing with a light breeze into the afternoon. We’ll stay dry today and tonight with clear skies and light winds sending temperatures tonight back into the lower 40s and upper 30s.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 67; Low – 40. Sunny and dry skies with a light afternoon breeze.
PUEBLO: High – 72; Low – 37. Sunny and warm with a light wind.
CANON CITY: High – 69; Low – 43. Sunny and fall-like with calm winds.
WOODLAND PARK: High – 58; Low – 34. Sunny and crisp with weak afternoon winds.
TRI-LAKES: High – 60s; Low – 30s. Sunny and dry with light afternoon winds.
PLAINS: High – 70s; Low – 30/40s. Sunny and pleasant with weak afternoon winds.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 60s; Low – 30s. Sunny and dry with light afternoon winds.
EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Saturday will be top tier with good sunshine and highs in the mid 70s for the Springs while Pueblo grabs an 80! A cold front pushes temperatures back into the 60s for Sunday, but just briefly because we’ll be back in the 70s and 80s for Monday.
Tuesday into Wednesday a series of cold front will bring very cold air back to the forecast, especially for Wednesday. Rain turning to snow is possible Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but our long term models show very different scenarios and as of now, the rain or snow looks pretty uncertain. The bigger story for now is to plan on very cold trick or treating!
