Once the snow showers and flurries quit later this evening, and the skies clear up overnight, and the winds diminish by morning, it is all about the cold…and how the cold eventually warms back up, through midweek. A big bubble of “no trouble” High Pressure will become the predominant feature Monday through Friday, keeping weather generally fair. On either side of it, north and south, a disturbance will bring some more clouds to Wednesday/early Thursday (from the south) and another brings more clouds to Friday night/early Saturday (from the north), but I foresee no rain or snow for quite awhile now, going forward.

So, it’s all about a frigid start at the bus stop Monday morning, and then a stutter-step warm up through Friday.

Colorado Springs: Low: 15, High: 40. All snow showers end this evening, skies clear up towards morning, wind diminishes. Sunny all day Monday. Cold morning.

Pueblo: Low: 18, High: 44. All snow showers end this evening, skies clear up towards morning, wind diminishes. Early clouds give way to sunny skies Monday. Cold morning.

Canon City: Low: 16, High: 39. All snow showers end this evening, skies clear up towards morning, wind diminishes. Sunny all day Monday. Cold morning.

Woodland Park: Low: 7, High: 33. All snow showers end early this evening, skies clear up overnight, wind slackens off. Sunny all day Monday. Frigid morning!

Tri-Lakes: Low: 9, High: 35. All snow showers end early this evening, skies clear up and wind diminishes. Sunny all day Monday. Frigid morning.

The Plains: Low: 18, High: 42. All snow showers end this evening, skies clear up towards morning, wind diminishes. Early clouds, then sunny Monday. Cold morning.

Trinidad/Walsenburg: Low: 16, High: 42. All snow showers end by Midnight, skies clear up towards morning, wind diminishes. Clouds until mid-morning, then turning mostly sunny Monday. Cold morning.

Extended Outlook…although some clouds make a return Wednesday PM into Thursday AM, and again Friday night into Saturday morning, the overall is…dry and warmer conditions for the extended portion, and no rain or snow in sight, going forward. It may be 10-14 days before any precipitation returns.
