Monday Evening Weather: Staying cold with more rain/snow chances

Tonight’s Forecast:

Areas of rain/snow showers become more and more isolated this evening and overnight, but cloud cover continues. Overnight lows will get down into the 30’s. We could see temps getting close to freezing around El Paso County so be sure to protect any plants.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 30, High: 40. Mainly dry overnight and cold with areas of fog. Another chilly day Tuesday with areas of rain/snow.

PUEBLO: Low: 33, High: 45. Mainly dry tonight with areas of fog. Cold tomorrow with areas of mostly rain.

CANON CITY: Low: 34, High: 45. Mainly dry overnight. Chilly Tuesday with mostly rain.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 24, High: 42. Cloudy and cold tonight. Another chilly day tomorrow with rain/snow showers.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 25, High: 40’s. Cold with clouds overnight and areas of fog. Cold again Tuesday with rain/snow showers.

PLAINS: Low: mid-30s, High: 50s. A few showers overnight. Cold again tomorrow with mainly rain showers.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s, High:  mid-40s. Mainly dry overnight. Well below average Tuesday with rain/snow showers.

REST OF THE WEEK: Tuesday brings another cold, cloudy, rainy, snowy day. Areas of rain/snow will develop throughout the day. We shouldn’t have impressive accumulations, but flakes and wet roads will be likely. Temperatures stay cold with highs only in the 40’s and 50’s. Skies dry out Tuesday night with overnight lows in the 20’s and 30’s. Milder for the rest of the week with highs in the 50’s and 60’s through the weekend. We could see the chance for additional precipitation late in the week, but models aren’t being very consistent with timing or intensity yet. We’ll keep an eye on it.
