As multiple low pressure systems track west of the Divide, all that makes it east is some drizzle or sprinkles. This continues to be the case fro Monday. Come Tuesday, the last in the series of low pressure storms will dive a bit further south and east, so light rain and drizzle will track into the Plains, and more often. The total amount of precipitation has been and will continue to be quite light, meaning probably under a tenth of an inch for most spots, even over the course of the next 48 hours of on and off light rain.

Expect wet snow in elevations above 8500 feet, and especially at night, through Tuesday, and amounts will generally be 3″ or less.

Extended Outlook…Skies clear up very fast Wednesday, and it will be bright but breezy Wednesday as a fast-moving ridge moves in and through, on through Thursday. But another storm moves in from the PAC coast and may even drag residual moisture from what will be a long since dead Tropical Storm, through here Friday or Saturday.
