Brighter today with mainly sunny skies. Temperatures will run a few degrees cooler with highs in the 60’s and 70’s. Winds will be a little breezy later today with some gusts over 20 mph by the afternoon and evening. A few clouds tonight with lows in the 50’s for most areas.

TRI-LAKES: High – 60’s; Low – 40’s. An above average day with mainly sunny skies.
PLAINS: High – 70’s; Low – 50’s.A few areas of clouds this morning and later today with cooler temperatures.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 70’s; Low – 50’s. Mild and mainly sunny today.
REST OF THE WEEK: Similar temperatures on Monday with highs in the 70’s and 80’s. Clouds will be more abundant throughout the day, but skies stay dry. Moisture from the remnants of Rosa try to head our way for the middle part of the week. Most of the moisture will get caught up in the mountains, but we’ll still have the chance for a few showers/storms for our area. The best chance for showers/storms will be later in the week on Friday and Saturday. Winds will be breezy at times throughout the week. Temperatures stay well above average until around Thursday and then cool off into the 60’s by Saturday.
