Much warmer air returns to the forecast this afternoon thanks to sunshine and very dry air! Highs will climb back into the upper 70s in Colorado Springs and mid 80s for Pueblo. The breeze will be a bit stronger in the afternoon with winds along I-25 blowing generally between 6 to 12 mph. There will be no rain today and while we have no fire advisories, the ground fuels are drying out and we need to be very careful.
Fun fact, we start October next Monday, did you know that’s usually when we first see our first freeze?
