There will be no rain today and while we have no fire advisories, the ground fuels are drying out and we need to be very careful.

A cold front pushes through Friday morning. This front will bring strong winds during the first half of the day, and cool air through the remainder. Highs will drop to the 60s in the afternoon along most of the interstate and lows Friday night to Saturday morning will be widespread into the 30s and low 40s. Oktoberfest kicks off Friday at 5pm and while temperatures will start around 60 degrees at the start of the event, they’ll fall into the 50s by the end, so bring a jacket! We’ll warm up very well through the weekend with 80s coming back to the state.
