Monday Evening Weather: Cooler air ahead!

Tonight’s Forecast:

Breezy at times and mainly dry this evening. Just a couple stray showers/thunder in the mix. A few clouds overnight with winds getting strong by morning as a cold front arrives. Gusts over 30 mph will be possible as this front rolls through bringing much cooler air.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 48, High – 65. Small chance for a stray shower this evening. Clearing overnight and breezy to windy by morning. Mainly dry and cooler Tuesday.

PUEBLO: Low – 50, High – 70. Mainly dry this evening. Breezy by morning. Much cooler tomorrow.

CANON CITY: Low – 51, High – 69. Mainly dry this evening. Breezy by morning with cooler temperatures for Tuesday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 37, High – 58. Mainly dry this evening. Breezy and much cooler tomorrow.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 40, High – 50’s. Mainly dry this evening. Windy early Tuesday morning with much cooler air in place.

PLAINS: Low – 50, High – 70’s. Partly cloudy tonight with strong winds by morning as a front moves through. Much cooler air in place tomorrow.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 40’s, High – 60’s. Mainly dry this evening. Breezy Tuesday with much cooler air moving in.

REST OF THE WEEK: Behind the morning cold front, temperatures fall to more Fall-like readings. Highs will only be in the 60’s to low 70’s. Looking like a mainly dry day as the cooler and drier air settles in. Still the chance for some clouds throughout the day with improving winds. Tuesday night will be chilly with lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Wednesday will be a a couple degrees warmer. Dry, warmer, and sunny conditions return for the rest of the week. Temperatures will warm very quickly with highs back in the 70’s and 80’s on Thursday and generally holding for the rest of the week. Sunday could bring another breezy day with additional cloud cover to start the new week, but it’s looking mainly dry for now.
