Today’s Forecast:

Today is the first full day of Fall, but it will feel more like summer with highs well into the 80’s and even 90’s for the warmest areas. Mainly sunny skies with just a few extra PM clouds compared to Saturday. Should be a nice day to end the weekend. Mainly clear this evening and overnight with lows in the 50’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 86; Low – 54. A very warm first full day of Fall with a few pm clouds.

PUEBLO: High – 92; Low – 54. Another hot and sunny day for your Sunday.

CANON CITY: High – 88; Low – 57. A few more pm clouds, but still a hot day.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 77; Low – 47. Very warm again with areas of pm clouds.

TRI-LAKES: High – 80’s; Low – 50. Another hot day with a few pm clouds.

PLAINS: High – 90’s; Low – 50’s. Hot and sunny again today.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s. Sunny and hot to wrap up the weekend.

REST OF THE WEEK: We head towards more seasonal weather for the first part of the work week. A series of cold fronts will cool temperatures and bring minor rain chances, though models still have big differences when it comes to those rain chances. Highs in the 70’s and 80’s on Monday with a chance for mainly PM showers/thunder. Tuesday should be the coldest day of the week with highs only in the 60’s and low 70’s for most areas. Cloud cover will be abundant with a chance for isolated showers throughout the day. That chance for moisture could linger into early Wednesday before skies clear for the rest of the week with sunshine and improving temperatures. Highs will be back in the 70’s by Thursday, 80’s by Saturday heading into the weekend.
