Fall officially arrives 7:54pm this evening, but after highs today in the 80s and Sunday expected to be 5 degrees warmer, it doesn’t feel like it! Skies will remain crystal clear, tonight through early Monday. The fair weather-making high pressure system over the high Plains, will dominate our weather, and pulls in warmer air through Sunday.

A couple of cool fronts will pass through, the first uneventfully…Monday afternoon…with just a few hours of clouds. It will knock temperatures back a bit, but it is the second one that gets hung up in the mountains, creates a cool and damp up-slope flow, and the only real chance for a few rain-showers later Tuesday into the first half of Wednesday. Those will be the really cool days, this coming week.

Colorado Springs: Low: 50, High: 85. Clear and cool tonight. Sunny and warm Sunday.

Pueblo: Low: 48, High: 91. Clear, cool tonight. Sunny and hot, Sunday.

Canon City: Low: 50, High: 88. Clear and cool tonight. Sunny and warm Sunday.

Woodland Park: Low: 42, High: 77. Clear and chilly tonight. Sunny and warm Sunday.

Tri-Lakes: Low: 44, High: 82. Clear and chilly tonight. Sunny and warm Sunday.

The Plains: Low: 52, High: 91. Clear, cool tonight. Sunny, hot Sunday.

Trinidad/Walsenburg: Low: 50, High: 85. Clear, cool tonight. Sunny, warm Sunday.

Extended Outlook…Beyond the midweek chance for light rain, it clearly looks clear again, Thursday through next Sunday. And temperatures will begin to soar through that period, too.
