Today’s Forecast:

Another day of sun and heat! Clouds will be rare and highs just just shy of average. 10-15 degrees above average will be the rule of thumb. Highs will be well into the 80’s and 90’s. Clear overnight with lows in the 50’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 88; Low – 55. Sunny and hot yet again.

PUEBLO: High – 94; Low – 56. Another round of sunshine and heat.

CANON CITY: High – 92; Low – 58. Hot and sunny for the weekend.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 80; Low – 51. Very warm temperatures and abundant sunshine.

TRI-LAKES: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s . Hot and sunny for your Saturday.

PLAINS: High – 90’s; Low – 50’s. Sunshine and well above average highs.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 90’s; Low – 50’s. Hot temperatures and sunny skies.

NEXT WEEK: We stay well above average and dry for at least the first half of the new week. Highs will be in the 80’s and 90’s. Not expecting any records for the next couple of days. Tuesday should be our next chance at breaking any. Skies will generally be sunny with a few additional clouds trying to pop up after today. A cold front will arrive late Wednesday to help cool things down a bit. This will bring some cloud cover Wednesday, potentially breezy winds, a small chance for a shower/storm and some relief from the heat. Temperatures cool into the 70’s by Friday, making the swap to just below average. Friday could also bring a small chance for a stray shower/storm along with breezy winds.
