Saturday Morning Weather: Mainly dry and getting warmer

Skies will improve throughout the morning and early afternoon. A small chance for a stray pm shower/storm for the higher elevations like Pikes Peak, the Palmer Divide, and the Wets/Sangres. Most areas stay dry. Areas of clouds tonight with lows in the 50’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 77; Low – 51. Areas of clouds early this morning. Mainly dry and mild today.

PUEBLO: High – 83; Low – 53. Morning clouds, mainly sunny later today.

CANON CITY: High – 82; Low – 56. Warm and mainly dry today.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 71; Low – 44. Mild with a very small chance for a stray pm shower/storm.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70’s; Low – 40’s. Mild with a very small chance for a stray pm shower/storm.

PLAINS: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s. Warm and mainly dry for your Saturday.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s. Warm and pleasant. Small chance for a stray pm shower/storm.

NEXT WEEK: Sunday will be about the only chance for (limited) moisture over the next several days. Increasing clouds late in the day with a chance for a stray shower/storm nearly everywhere. Shouldn’t be anything impressive or anything that will ruin your plans for the day. Highs will be in the 80’s. The rest of the week will be dry and well above average. We’ll have a good deal of sunshine. Highs will be in the 80’s and 90’s through at least Friday.
