Today’s Forecast:
It’s time for everyone to go back to work, and luckily the weather looks pretty decent. We’ll see more sun to start the day but cloud cover will return through the afternoon and it’ll look downright gloomy at times. Rain is likely today through the mountains but only a few scattered showers are expected out into the I-25 corridor. A cold front pushes through the state late today and tonight, bringing rain Wednesday morning and much cooler temperatures through the afternoon.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 78; Low – 54. Becoming cloudy this afternoon with only a small chance for an isolated shower or two after 2pm. Tonight will be windy with rain likely in the mountains around the Pikes Peak region with more widespread rain by tomorrow morning.

PUEBLO: High – 85; Low – 57. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible this afternoon with cloud cover filling in around noon and highs warming to the mid 80s. Tonight a front will move through and rain becomes likely early Wednesday morning.

CANON CITY: High – 83; Low – 58. An isolated shower is possible this afternoon with heavier cloud cover after 12pm. We should stay dry most of tonight but showers tomorrow morning are possible.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 69; Low – 46. A few scattered showers this afternoon are possible but rain looks more likely tonight and early tomorrow morning.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Becoming cloudy with scattered and isolated showers possible this afternoon but rain is more likely tonight into tomorrow morning.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 70s; Low – 50s. Cloudier skies this afternoon with scattered showers and thunderstorms showing up after 1pm. Some heavy rain in the Sangre De Cristos is possible but overall we’re expecting no threat from storms.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER:
Wednesday morning showers are looking much more likely along the I-25 corridor from Pueblo through the Springs and up to Denver. Easterly, up slope winds are going to try and bring more showers to Wednesday afternoon with continued daily rain chances for Thursday to Friday. Temperatures will be the biggest change for Wednesay with highs in the mid 60s in the Springs and low 70s for Pueblo. The weekend looks dry and much warmer with highs back in the 80s and 90s under sunshine.
