Saturday Morning Weather: Cooler, PM Storm Chances

Today’s Forecast:

Slightly cooler today with highs in the 70’s and 80’s. We’ll have more cloud cover in the mix with a chance for pm showers/storms. Some of those could be on the strong to severe side, especially for areas of the plains. Strong winds will be the biggest concern with these storms.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 79; Low – 53. Slightly cooler with areas of PM showers/storms.

PUEBLO: High – 86; Low – 55. Chance for a PM shower/storm.

CANON CITY: High – 83; Low – 57. Chances for showers/storms increase for the afternoon/evening.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 72; Low – 46. PM showers and storms possible.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70’s; Low – 40’s. Shower/storm chances during the second half of the day.

PLAINS: High – 80’s; Low – 60’s. Chances for mainly PM showers/storms.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s. Areas of clouds today with PM shower/storm chances.

NEXT WEEK: Cloudy tonight with a chance for lingering areas of stray showers. Lows mainly in the 50’s. Several disturbances will move through for the new week, causing chances for PM showers and storms each day. Temperatures stay mainly in the 70’s and 80’s. Wednesday looks to be the coolest day of the week with highs in the 70’s everywhere. Some nice improvements later in the week. Highs back into the 80’s by Friday with drier and brighter skies returning.
