Tonight’s Forecast:
It’s one of those, where, you could go into detail, or you could skip it…because literally, the overall pattern is so similar for the next week, would an explanation help much? We are in a high moisture region right now, and it persists, because of an unusual large storm sprawled across the lower Great Lakes and Ohio River Valley, that is stuck in the mud. Because it isn’t going anywhere, just like a traffic jam, whatever is west, is remaining west. So, for us, we have monsoonal moisture rotating around a flat bubble of high pressure, repeatedly. When you have a stagnant pattern, it is meteorologically called, "persistence". Loosely translated, it means…what you have is what you get…for awhile.
