A few more clouds possible through the evening hours to help beat the heat. We stay very warm tonight with lows in the 60’s.
COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 61, High – 99. Mainly clear and warm tonight. Even hotter Thursday with very high fire danger.
PUEBLO: Low – 62, High – 106. Clear and mild overnight. Toasty tomorrow with a few pm clouds.
CANON CITY: Low – 63, High – 102. Warm and clear tonight. Hot Thursday with very high fire danger.
WOODLAND PARK: Low – 53, High – 89. Mild overnight with just a few clouds. Another hot one tomorrow with high fire danger.
TRI-LAKES: Low – 50’s, High – 90’s. Warm tonight. Hot again tomorrow with high fire danger.
PLAINS: Low – 60’s, High – 100’s. Mainly clear and warm overnight. Another scorcher on Thursday with red flag warnings for some.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 60’s, High – Near 100. Another warm night. Heat continues tomorrow with high fire danger.
NEXT WEATHER MAKER: Near-record temperatures for Thursday with highs well into the 90’s and 100’s, even a few degrees warmer than Wednesday. Skies start sunny with pm clouds moving in for some minor relief by the evening hours. Winds will be a bit stronger throughout the day and red flag warnings will be in effect for many areas. The heat continues, but with a little bit of relief for Friday. Highs will be a few degrees cooler, but still in the 90’s and 100’s. Real relief finally arrives for the weekend with temperatures losing steam each day. Highs will be back in the 80’s by Sunday. Our next chance for moisture looks to hold off until at least the start of the new week.
