REST OF THE WEEK: The heat continues to be the story through the rest of the work week. Highs will remain in the 90’s and 100’s. Wednesday and Thursday should be the hottest days of the week with near record highs followed by a few degrees of relief on Friday. Winds will be a little breezier for the rest of the week so fire danger will be very high with a few red flag warnings possible. Slightly more significant relief for the weekend with a cold front sending highs back in the 80’s and 90’s. Any moisture potential holds off until Sunday for now.
