Tonight’s Forecast:

Storms forming a line Sunday afternoon, marching out of El Paso, Elbert, Lincoln Counties, march towards the Kansas border, bring you hail (quarter to half dollar size), some heavy wind in advance of them too. The worst of the action will be over with by early evening…

Meanwhile, Sunday was your one and only cool day, for awhile now. Monday is a transitional day, temperature and sky-wise. And come Tuesday, just like for Beverly Hills Cop…The Heat Is On!

Scattered generic t-showers Sunday afternoon will depart by Midnight, and clouds follow suit for a clearing or mostly clear overnight. It will be very cool though, dropping back into the high 40s for many! After a crisp, cool sunny Monday morning, fair weather clouds will develop, but lead to nothing more than virga (rain that evaporates, long before reaching the ground.)

Skies clear up sunset Monday evening, and come Tuesday? It is bright, blazing sun…through Friday. We will get close to record highs, but keep in mind, the records are as high as they get all year. But it will be very hot.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 48, High – 82. Scattered showers this evening, clearing up Midnight and beyond. Sunny Monday morning, mixed sun & clouds in the afternoon. Fresh breezes.
