Monday Morning Weather: Warm and dry later today

Today’s Forecast:
A hot and dry day is coming to southern Colorado with only a small chance of thunderstorms up near the Palmer Divide early this evening. We’ll feel humid this morning with fog up along the Palmer Divide, but warming temperatures and drier air will quickly make things feel a bit more comfortable later on today. The breeze will be stronger this afternoon and stay fairly brisk through the overnight hours.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 83; Low – 58. Sunny & warm with more clouds through the afternoon and a stronger afternoon breeze.

PUEBLO: High – 93; Low – 63. Hot and breezy today with mostly sunny skies and a steady afternoon breeze.

CANON CITY: High – 88; Low – 63. Warm and sunny today with a light afternoon breeze.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 73; Low – 49. Beautiful with a nice afternoon breeze and a very small chance for afternoon sprinkles.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70s; Low – 40s/50s. Warm with the best chances for rain east of the area along the Palmer Divide early this evening.

PLAINS: High – 90s; Low – 60s. Hot and breezy today with plenty of sunshine through the afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80s/90s; Low – 60s. Mainly dry and warm with a very small chance for showers near the Raton Mesa.


WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER
Chances for rain increase on Tuesday and Wednesday with the heaviest rain Tuesday likely across the plains. We’ll be dry by the end of the week with big heat returning for Friday.
