REST OF THE WEEK:We’ll have a slow warming trend through about Thursday when highs will top out in the upper 80’s and 90’s. 80’s for everyone heading into the weekend. After a bright start to the day, we’ll have the chance for a stray shower or storm later Tuesday. Some of these storms could be on the strong to severe side for areas of the eastern plains. Mainly dry for Wednesday and Thursday. Better chances for moisture look to kick in later this week and even into the first part of next week thanks to a tropical system heading towards the Baja Peninsula. We’ll have southwest flow later this week and that should be able to pull in some moisture from this system.
