A large high pressure system moves into Colorado today keeping the sunshine strong and the temperatures warm! Light winds will stick around through the day and we’ll melt down the areas that saw light snow yesterday. Any morning fog will quickly burn off as we warm into the low 60s across Colorado Springs and mid 60s for Pueblo. Tonight we’ll stay cool with lows in the 40s with the winds starting to increase after 3am.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER:
A cold front tonight will start accelerating the winds after 3am and really keep the gusts going through noon Thursday. We will likely see wind gusts max out at 30 to 40 mph through the area Thursday with lighter winds in the afternoon. Highs will be about 3 degrees cooler than Wednesday and we’re expected to stay dry through the area. The next chance for any rain comes Saturday afternoon with spotty and scattered thunderstorms possible in the mid afternoon.
