WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER
Rain and snow return tot he forecast for Tuesday, but the good news is we aren’t expecting very much of either. A cold front tonight will drop in from the north, likely sparking a few showers across the Palmer Divide just after midnight but quickly drying after an hour or so. Temperatures Tuesday will be in the 40s and 50s through the area which is over 20 degrees cooler than we’ll see today. Light snow across elevations over 6500 feet, like Woodland Park and even a bit over Monument Hill, will be possible Tuesday afternoon into the early evening. Woodland Park may see up to 2 inches of snow, Monument Hill will likely see less than 1 inch.
