Today’s Forecast:
A few areas of fog and lingering clouds this morning, especially for the plains. This will all clear quickly for a mostly sunny Sunday. The best chance for any moisture will come from instability showers over the Continental Divide. Temperatures will improve as well, warming into the 60’s for most areas. Winds will be light and variable throughout the day. Overall, the better day of the weekend! A few passing clouds tonight with lows in the 30’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 63; Low – 37. Improving skies and warmer today.

PUEBLO: High – 68; Low – 38. More sunshine and warmer temperatures to wrap up the weekend.

CANON CITY: High – 67; Low – 39. A brighter day with warmer temperatures for your Sunday.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 53; Low – 33. A drier, brighter, and warmer day.

TRI-LAKES: High – Upper 50’s; Low – 30’s. Improving skies and milder temperatures today.

PLAINS: High – 60’s; Low – 30’s. Areas of fog early then brighter skies and warmer temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 60’s; Low – Near 40. Brighter skies and warmer temperatures to end the weekend.

REST OF THE WEEK
Warmer still on Monday with highs in the 60’s to 70’s. We may see a few isolated showers popping up during the second half of the day, but they look to be few and far between. A cold front moves through Monday night, dropping temperatures for Tuesday and bringing the chance for showers Monday night into Tuesday. Winds will be a little stronger as that front passes. Highs on Tuesday will only be in the 40’s for many areas. Wednesday looks like a nice day with highs back in the 60’s and sunny skies. Models are differing a bit for the rest of the week. For now, we’ll go with warming temperatures and the next chance for moisture potentially arriving later Friday into Saturday.
