WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER
Rain and snow are on the way for Friday and Saturday with Winter Storm Watches in place from Teller county down through the Sangre De Cristo mountains and west of the San Luis Valley. As for now snow accumulation looks to stay highest over the larger terrain with areas like Colorado Springs likely seeing snow Friday night, just not getting a lot of accumulation due to the warm and wet ground. This system will leave Saturday afternoon and give us a dry but chilly Saturday night.
