This week, we continue our Best of News 5 Sports with the 'Special Teams Play of the Year' from the high school football season.

Guarienti's gone with the wind

In a game between Lewis Palmer and Pueblo South, the Rangers were set to kick off to the Colts after a score. South's Luke Guarienti fields the kick return and lets his legs do the talking. The junior find the lanes and if off to the races for the 75-yard touchdown return. The Colts would go onto win, 46 to 3.

Cooper's clutch game winning field goal

In a rivalry game between the Classical Academy and Elizabeth, the Titans had driven all the way down the field into field goal range and were down by 2. With 2 seconds left in the game, kicker Hayden Cooper nails the 27-yard field goal to give TCA the 10-9 win.

The Wildcats wild blocked punt for a touchdown

In a Thursday night rivalry showdown in the snow between Pueblo County faced Pueblo Central, the Wildcats Keegan Clay blocked the Hornets punt. Austin Allenback would recover the ball for the scoop and score for the touchdown. Central would go onto win 21-7.
