Vista Ridge alum Maldonado spoils Senior Day for Air Force

USAFA — In his first game back in Colorado Springs in his collegiate career, Vista Ridge alum and Wyoming forward Hunter Maldonado shined.

Madonado hit a go-ahead 3, capping a 12-0 run in the final 2 minutes of the game, to give the Cowboys the one-point lead and ended the game with 19-points, 7 rebounds & 5 assists.

Wyoming would not look back from there spoiling Senior Day for Air Force to win 78 to 72. Greg Milton led all scores with 28 points.

Lavelle Scottie led the Falcons with 17 points on senior day.

Air Force (10-18, 4-12) went scoreless over the two minutes of the game and failed to hold a six point lead.

Prior to the game, Air Force honored its senior class. LeSean Brown, Caleb Morris, Scottie, Ryan Swan and Sid Tomes comprise the senior class of 2020.

Air Force returns to action Wednesday, Feb. 26, in its home-finale, hosting New Mexico. The game tips at 7 pm MT and will be broadcast by ESPN3.
