Both the Air Academy Lady Kadets and the Sand Creek Scorpion basketball teams picked up key wins on Friday night.
The Scorpions outlasted the Discovery Canyon Thunder at home, 46 to 43.
The Lady Kadets were also able to pick up a home win over Palmer Ridge, 47 to 31.
